Children leave Head Start prepared for elementary school and a successful transition to kindergarten. Instruction is provided in both individual and small group settings.
The classroom environment and teacher instruction provide opportunities for each child to develop at their own pace in a stimulating and challenging setting.
read more T-STEP Program - The TEACCH School Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education Program was developed to support transition to employment and/or postsecondary education settings for adolescents and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder who have received a standard course of study high school diploma.A separate entity called Community Personnel Services (CPS) provides post-graduate transition services and job placements to any special-needs adult, while another offshoot, the P. ECLC now serves more than 200 students ages 5 to 16 and starts a pre-vocational program called SKIL (Seeking Knowledge for Independent Living) to begin teaching appropriate work-related behaviors and placing students in volunteer jobs in the community and coaching them to success. The Weekend Respite Program begins, providing students with increased social and recreational opportunity and a chance for sleepovers! The wood shop, computer and billiards rooms are also open daily.Our physical activities include a variety of dance classes, yoga and tai chi programs and a large range of fitness classes of all levels are offered.
